I have had a rocky life for so far (rocky but also an amazing life, which I wouldn´t change a bit) and I have always had a stormy mind. I have had a therapist since I was a young kid, and with her help, I learned to make some sense of those wild waves in my head. She was the one who told me to let my body talk. Playing music, dancing freely, and giving space to the inner sea, I felt peace. With peace came silence, and with silence came the need to paint. Choosing colors and just letting go of trying were these paintings born. I love it how always, only at the very end of the painting session, I realize what the painting is about. When I see the result, the final picture, I understand what has been going on in my head. The feelings I have felt won't need words anymore; they are right there in front of me.
I started with markers on paper. Once I tried oil colors and fell in love with them because I had no idea how they worked. It was a mess, and I wasn't able to actually plan what to paint. Every painting has been a surprise, a piece of collaboration between my body and the universe. That's what brings the magic to them.
